Story #1
Once upon a time, there was a little engine that was tasked with hauling a heavy load up a steep hill. At first, the little engine was intimidated by the challenge, and it doubted whether it could ever make it to the top. But instead of giving up, the little engine started repeating a powerful mantra to itself: “I think I can, I think I can.”
With each repetition of the mantra, the little engine gained more and more confidence. It chugged up the hill, one step at a time, until it finally reached the top. And as the little engine looked back down the hill, it realized that it had accomplished something truly remarkable.
The moral of this story is clear: no matter how big the challenge, no matter how steep the hill, you can accomplish anything if you believe in yourself and never give up. So the next time you’re facing a difficult task or a daunting challenge, remember the little engine that could, and tell yourself: “I think I can, I think I can.”
Story #2
Once upon a time, there was a little engine that lived in a busy train station. The other engines always seemed bigger, faster, and stronger than the little engine, and it often felt left out and insignificant. But the little engine had a big dream – it wanted to carry a heavy load up a steep hill, just like the big engines.
One day, the little engine was asked to carry a load up the hill. It was a daunting task, and the little engine felt overwhelmed. “I don’t know if I can do it,” it thought. “I’m just a small engine.”
But then the little engine remembered something its mother had told it long ago. “Believe in yourself,” she had said. “You can accomplish anything you set your mind to.”
The little engine took a deep breath and started chugging up the hill. At first, it was slow and hesitant, but then it remembered another saying: “I think I can, I think I can.”
The little engine repeated this phrase over and over again, and with each repetition, it gained more and more confidence. Its wheels turned faster, and it picked up speed. The little engine could feel its strength growing, and it knew that it was going to make it to the top of the hill.
As the little engine reached the summit, it let out a loud whistle of triumph. It had accomplished something that it never thought was possible, and it felt proud and happy.
The other engines in the train station were amazed when they saw the little engine’s accomplishment. “How did you do it?” they asked.
The little engine smiled and replied, “I believed in myself.”
From that day on, the little engine was no longer overlooked or underestimated. It had proven that even the smallest and seemingly weakest can accomplish great things if they believe in themselves.
And so, the little engine continued to chug along, always believing in itself and inspiring others to do the same.
